Aggregate stability is the
[edit] Questions
Aggregate stability is little used in archaeology, however, alongside land use, particle size, organic matter and slope information it can be used to identify areas at risk of erosion which can be useful in devising site management plans and identifying sites at risk. Aggregate stability is also one property that is linked to a soils strength and resistance to compaction, hence it may help model a sites response to compaction associate with construction activities for example.
