[edit] The Scope of Geoarchaeology
Geoarchaeology involves the application of soil, sediment, geological and geomorphological analytical techniques to address archaeological questions. Such techniques can be applied to soils, sediments, anthropogenic materials and artefacts, and although not explicitly covered by SASSA there is also a strong overlap with dating, geophysical, and remote sensing techniques as well as with other environmental studies.
