[edit] Drumlin
A smoothly rounded, elongated hill of compact glacial till, shaped by the flow of the glacier. Its longer axis is parallel to the direction of ice movement; it has a blunt nose that points in the direction from which the ice approached, and a gentler slope tapering in the other direction. Multiple drumlins may be termed a drumlin field, a drumlin swarm, or sometimes a 'basket of eggs'.
