[edit] Soil Structure

The aggregation of soil particles into soil structures or peds. Soil structure is classified according to the shape of these peds which may be granular, blocky, platy, columnar, or prismatic. Soils in which no sturucture has developed may be termed structureless (or occassionally massive or single grain)
