Help with using and editing the SASSA knowledge base (SASSA Wiki)
The SASSA knowledge base is a wiki powered by MediaWiki free server-based software. This is the same software that is used by Wikipedia hence the two websites work in a very similar way.
The SASSA wiki is a website that allows registered users to add, remove, and otherwise edit and change available content. This ease of authoring means that users of SASSA can add their own content, share experience and advice with others, and develop SASSA as techniques and approaches evolve.
The basic structure is a set of linked editable web pages. Each page consists of a content page, where information about a particular topic and links to other relevant pages are provided, and a discussion page where registered users may comment more generally about the nature of the content, how it might be improved or how the page links to others.
The user interface is relatively simple and anyone familiar with Wikipedia should be able to navigate and edit SASSA Wiki without trouble. A quick start guide to editing SASSA, which can be opened and printed, can be found here but more details are in the links below.
