[edit] SASSA Knowledge Base: Registration and Access Rights
There are 4 levels of user for the SASSA Knowledge Base:
- Unregistered user: anyone is free to browse the SASSA knowledge base, and view the content.
- Registered normal user: By registering with SASSA through the login page, registered users will be able to view discussion pages and they will have access to the SASSA toolbox. This allows them to view recent changes, carry out advanced searches, watch pages, get printable versions of pages, and set their own preferences as to how they view the site.
- Approved registered user: To become an approved user you must directly contact the SASSA Administrator. Once approved you will login in exactly the same way, but will be able to edit and add content, pages and files to most areas of the SASSA Knowledge Base. This will enable you to add to or edit the tutorials, field analysis and analytical methods, add news and conference information, upload case studies, and add to or edit the glossary.
- Administrator: Administrators are able to approve registered users, delete pages, edit protected pages and block users who vandalise the site or are offensive towards other users.
Nb. There is a separate registration process for the fieldtool and SASSA Knowledge base! Users must register separately to use the field tool, but this is not dependant in anyway on the user being registered with the SASSA knowledge base. To find out more go to the Field Tool Help Pages here.
